This oil painting is in remembrance of the years I spent working as a Navy Chaplain. There were so many times I had to turn to prayer and scripture with myself – and at times those who were with me – for counseling in order to help them with their needs and find their way back to God. This was a wonderful time in my life, but also very heart wrenching as well, when I had to take care of families who lost loved ones. I hope this painting helps you to feel the peace within that can come from spending time with God.
