I grew up in the performing arts and as I painted this image of a dancer, I reflected on how hard it was and how many hours I spent practicing. This expresses the dancer’s exhaustion during a typical 5-minute break. For anyone who has taken dance lessons you know how difficult and challenging it is. Practice, practice, practice, becomes your motto. The love for ballet reaches out to many, especially to those who have always dreamed of becoming a ballerina and defying gravity.
